About Us

Some time ago, one of our children was diagnosed as being lactose intolerant. At the time, we purchased some goats' milk as we heard it may aid in certain situations such as ours. We found it to be a great beneficial help, and so the start of milking our own goats was born. As our children grew up and moved away, we ceased milking goats.
In early 2000, a diagnosis of multiple myeloma was handed to us. After several years of following traditional medicine without much success in trying to reverse this incurable disease, we were referred to a natural medicine practitioner. It was suggested to us, among other things to try, to start drinking goat's milk as an aid in the treatment and mangement of the disease. Besides, we strongly felt that milk goats could become a natural "therapy" as well!
We started up our herd again in early 2008. We strive to keep things as natural as we can, using natural remedies wherever possible in the treatment of ourselves and our livestock. We have a mixture of dairy and meat goats, meat sheep and Large Guard Dogs (LGD) roaming our large fenced in pasture. In the house, we have our two friendly beagles, who are always waiting for a trip around the pasture or just a walk in general. We also have a flock of chickens so that we can supply our home with naturally grown eggs and poultry meat.
